Before dawn today, in the ongoing effort by the Trump administration and Elon Musk to dismantle USAID, the agency ordered employees not to report to the headquarters in Washington. Senator Andy Kim (D-N.J.) attempted to enter the building this morning only to be told by security guards that they were ordered not to allow access to employees.
Below is Kim’s remarks to the press after leaving the building.
